My sisters family and my family went to Italy for a lovely Easter break. I can’t remember Easter last year I was spaced out from my sixth chemo and it was hell.
I thank God (yes, I have started believing again!) that I could eat this Easter and I can remember it and that it was lovely... I still feel bitter and resentment at getting cancer .... but now the fight begins not to get it back.
I am a Vegetarian and am trying hard to be a vegan - but it’s much harder as I love milk chocolate and cake!!
But I will be running 7km for charity in May and up to a half-marathon in September and physically I am fit.
We are going to the US in June for three weeks and I can’t wait!
Cancer girls in San Diego area please put June 29th in the diary for a meet up!
Either you have hair or you're bald, you are still lucky to stay physically fit after undergoing numerous chemotherapies. It's not easy to undergo that kind of treatment. It hurts not just our body but as well as our family. Just keep on fighting. I'm glad as well you have your families support. That's important.

Hi Bena
What a lovely photo - it's great to see your smiling face. You look so well and - dare I say it - I think the short hair suits you. Good luck with all the running too.
lots of love, Olivia xx
