Dealing with breast cancer is terrible. But metaplastic breast cancer is very very aggressive. The nearer I get to the end of my chemotherapy – the more scared I become.
Well. I am trying to find people that have lived with metaplastic breast cancer for more than 5 years and it is hard. I have made eight metaplastic breast cancer friends online- one in Germany, one in Australia, one in New Zealand, Edinburgh and the rest in the States. Its great talking to them and I do feel a sense of community. But they are all new patients – my age and with exactly the same symptoms.
1. The lump appeared and came from out of nowhere.
2. The doctors thought it was a cyst.
3. The tumor grew at an amazing rate.
